Maintenance and Upkeep of the Area around the STRASSENHAUS

Relatively little dirt should accumulate on the elevated transport lane in comparison to at-grade traffic. It is only used by vehicles coming from clean streets. In the scope of the STRASSENHAUS concept a service module was developed serving as emergency stop bay, service point and maintenance centre. Specific flaps which are integrated into the service module allow the easy disposal of street sweeping waste or snow into containers or container vehicles at ground level via disposal conduits.

We offer highly sophisticated disposal technology for street sweeping and snow removal. The German company Hako which specializes in disposal equipment manufactures light vehicles for a variety of applications. Their service vehicles can operate with driving speeds of up to 40 km/h. Figures 1 and 2.

The entrance and exit ramps can be equipped with dynamical road heating systems. Such heating systems are known from multi-story car park access ramps and airport runways where they keep the surfaces free of snow and ice.
